Charging?

How come sometimes when I charge my phone the red chargin light wont come on but the screen says its charging?

Cause these phones have several bugs in them and future firmware updates will resolve most of these issues, if not all of them.

I hear people talking of upgrades in the firmware etc but are these ever actually going to come about? 😕

Of course they are, 100%. You just have to give it some time, you have to consider the phone has only been out for 3 months.

Im sure Sony Ericsson is working on fixing the problems and bugs.

yeah i suppose it is early days. did the s700i come out at the same time as the s710a? cos im just thinking as its an earlier model it might have been released a while b4 the s710a. if so then i havnt yet seen any firmware for the s700i either. if not and they came out at the same time thats kool i just guess there both in early days

The S700i came out alot earlier than the S710a. But you have to consider that although for the most part they are the same phone, they both run on different firmware. The S700i runs on Sony Ericsson's standard firmware which to me seems problem free because my friend has an S700i and she's never had a problem with it. The S710a on the other hand runs on Cingular branded firmware.
