Bluetooth Security Tips?

Does anybody have any tips to avoid people trying to connect to my phone while I'm using bluetooth or getting a virus on the v551? Is there something in the security options that I should do?

Do not open any files sent to your phone ending in .vbs .bat. .exe .pif or .scr.
If not using BT turn it off.

Is there a way to have a PIN required for any device trying to connect or to have my phone hidden from unfamiliar BT devices while I'm using it?
