Very funny. According to L2 support, using a mail applet is not supported and will "void your warranty" because this is a basic phone and does not support email. The mmail applet does work just fine until it runs out of memory and gets an "out of memory" error.
What good is all that memory if you cannot use it? Does anyone know how to make the phone yield some of that wasted ram to the applet?

ring tone volume and durability
I currently have an x427 that needs to be replaced since its damaged and my display is gone. I was considering about going back to a nokia bar phone. However I may go for this one if the ring volume is much louder than the x427 and its durability isn't crap. I would appreciate some insight on these conditions. Thanks.

My store (indirect) got this phone in today.
It's TINY. It feels smaller than the x105 does. Wow.
The screen is decent. The UI seems to lag a bit. I didn't use it other than to look at the menus and stuff. Seems like a decent entry level phone. It has IM and Push E-Mail. Eh.
