Pre-Paid Users
Are there any prepaid users who will answer this couplpe ?'s? I am worried the the decuction of $1.00 a day will drain my account too fast. It is a GREAT deal but if there are days that I don't use it...
How often do u find your self adding more air-time? Is this system bad for people who talk every day for about 10 minutes? Give me some advice.. Thanks! 😁

even with the contract plan its a dolar a day with no voice services. this deal basically make it easier. you don't get stuck in a contract and you pay 15 cents a minute opposed to 40 cents you're looking at spending about 60 something a month. if you talk that much just get a year long contract becomes it become more expensive to go prepaid

i jus want to get the sidekick prepaid for the internet and text messaging. a dolla a day would drain it but it would be nice havin it knowin i don't have to pay monthly for it with tax's and all that. Basically since i want to use it for text, AIM, Yahoo, and HTML internet do u think its worth it? o yea my own e-mail accounting. I'm goin to college so it would seem like it would be real useful aslo is there a warranty on a prepaid phone just incase it broke?

Thats what I do. I use my sidekick for internet, chat, etc. And I use my cell phone for calls.

I use cingular for my phone service, and I have the sidekick for the data use only (AIM, Email, Web, Text Msg). I can't let go of the phone, I just returned the Cingular Palm Treo 650 because it doesn't compare to the sidekick as far as AIM wise, and sidekick is so much easier to navigate around, and you get unlimited text wit the data service.
Cingular wanted $39.99 for data + hadda pay for a text msg package. Although cingular data was alot more faster then the sidekick, and the touch screen is hard to give up, it really is hard to type and the battery life sux, and whatever version of aim you find suck, wont ever compare to tmobile sidekick's version of aim. Sidekick all the way!
