Too fat and Heavy?

I've been looking at the pictures at SureWest Wireless and it's looking a bit fat near the screen.
http://www.surewest.com/graphics/sww/phones/nokia601 ... »

I was wondering, is it small? or the same way it looks like in the picture?

Because im switching my Kyocera Koi KX2 since it was too much of a burden to open it and stuff..

Thanks

Getting Images into 6015ipp

😕 Hi, got a 6015ipp from VZW and want to find a way to customize it with my own images from my computer. I have an ibook and was wondering if this would be possible. I see there is the datapilot software but it doesn't mention whether or not you can explore the folders inside the phone with it. It's mainly for syncing contact info which is a nice thing but I mainly wanted to be able to transfer graphics. VZW says no way of course. They want you to buy custom ones but only with get it now which the 6015i doesn't have. Not a big deal as I love the phone anyway, but just would be nice to personalize it a little.

TIA

SIM Card

That little slot under the battery, is that a SIM card slot? I want to say no, but I'm not sure and I can't find an answer anywhere.

If it is, I could use one from my store with a GSM carrier in Canada when I go up in May as a prepaid service. Totally not worth buying a new $200-300 phone for a half a month. 😕

Reprogram VZ 6015i

Does anyone know if you can reprog the 6015i so that it can be used for the WEB, etc. as advertised by Nokia. I have read about the ability to unlock other features the VZ had removed on different phones.

I love this lil guy - its the best phone I have had for battery - reception - ....

I want to keep it and not upgrade.

Why is Verizon so dumb with Nokia phones

I just read that Verizon discontinued this phone (Nokia 6015i). And this is on top of Verizon discontinuing the 3589i.

Why is Verizon so dumb when it comes to Nokia phones? Both models get rave reviews on reception.

Excellent audio!

😁 If you just want a simple phone that WORKS, this is the phone for you. It has EXCELLENT audio, ear piece volume is the loudest and clearest of ANY other Nokia handset on Verizon Wireless, and trust me, I've used them all! It's small and easy to hold. I live in an area that only receives 800 mhz digital signal. That signal even fades in and out. Calls break up and drop here all the time, and forget ever using a phone in my house! Well, this Nokia 6015i has not dropped any calls or broken up when using it outside. I can even use it in the house, but occasionally a call will break up. This is not a problem with the phone, it's the signal in my area. Great phone if you aren't into a lot of features and you just want a phone that works...

AD-5B Wireless Adapter

Has anyone tried it on a 6015? It does'nt show as an accessory for the 6015 on the Nokia page.
Nokia says it won't work because 6015 doesn't have bluetooth compatibility, only GSM phones do!!!!!
They told me it will fit in the pop port, but that the internal connections to the pop port are not connected for use with the adapter???
Any input??? Nokia sure didn't make any sense at all with that info....

6015i and National Access

Has anyone successfully connected their Nokia 6015i to the internet via AC National Access MOU, also called National Enhanced Service Access?
Is so, what data cable and software were used?
TIA

Mobile Action USB Kit

I saw where several people recommended this combination of cable and software. I found that the link was wholesale only. Does anyone have a retail source? - my web surfing has come up blank.

Thanks!!

Sticks Ringer

Could someone who has this phone possibly copy the sticks.mid file off and email it to me? I have a 6225, which didn't come with that particular ringer, which I think is very cool. Thanks for your help!

data tool for 6016i

Got this awesome data tool last week! Ordered from an internet shop! This data tool ma8622 is really nice!!! I can edit phone book, sync calendar, change up to 500 ringer with different instruments, modify pictures from my computer and upload to my phone/set as wallpaper, and there is an additioanl charging function! Really an amazing tool.
This company should really sell this product to radio shack or best buy to replace those expensive/no good features data tools.
The data tool ma8622 I got only cost me 29.99 plus shipping. Really a nice tool to have for my 6016i!

Does The 6015i Support Get It Now?

One of the reviewers on this forum indicated that the 6015i supported Get It Now. This is contrary to the info on Verizon's website.
Comments please.
