Motorola V710

Can someone go step by step on how to send the file in a message b/c when I hit the menu button on one of the files there is no send in message option and when I go to create a message it will not allow me to scroll through those files. Thanks in advance and VERIZON sux for doing this.

Simple problem:

I just traded in my old v710 for a new one. I have the memory card with rings that i have made that I used on my other v710. I would simply mark the file and copy it to the phone. Then I would asign it as a ringtone bla bla bla. Well now I click on the file on my memory card and there is no option to copy to phone. WHAT DO I DO? Thanks in advance all.

Anybody hear anything about when this settlement is going to go down? That link that came in the e-mail is still blank. I wonder how many V710 owners are going for the Moto E815.

Hello, Ive been a member of this forum for a while...and since my job has gotton great pricing on Cingular, I may switch.. I have heard it has gotton much better and ive been with verizon and its predecessors for 14 years... Has anyone heard good things or bad things about the service...please keep an open mind...im a verizon lover but the discount is too good if the service is good...

I recently upgraded to a V710, I own the Mobile Office Kit that I purchased for my previous phone. The Drivers for the 710 are not on the CD and Verizon doesn't have the driver available for download. Anyone know where I can get the driver without having to buy another kit? I don't need another cable.

What is a QCP and how can I change this to a MP3 or a MID?

Will the Standard E815 battery (1030mAH) work in a V710? If so will I have to buy the battery door of the E815 and put it on the V710 so it will fit? Trying to increase the battery life of the V710 without increasing the bulk.

I'd like to know how can I synchronize or transfer data from Outlook to the Motorola v710. Anyone knows? Thanks!

With a stock V710 phone from Verizon, if I purchase a transflash card, can I load MP3s, ringtones, etc. from my PC to the transflash card then use them direct in my phone? I purchased Motorola Phone Tools and a USB cable and finally got them working but I do not see anywhere in MPT to transfer files. I don't want to buy a memory card for my phone if I can't transfer files without having to hack my phone.

I got my email this morning concerning the settlement. Same email as everyone else. My page, like everyone elses, doesnt open up. Being impatient, I called Verizon to see if the reps there could tell me anything. She told me she had heard something about it but had no info to give me and saw nothing in her system about the lawsuit. If anyone has any new info please pass it along.

When looking at my phone or typing a message sometimes my phone just restarts and like freezes up. i took it to the verizon place and they simply told me "to shut it off" which pisses me off. ang suggestions or anyone else dealing with this shiz

If anyone is having problems sending picture messages please read this. Ok, I first noticed this about a month ago when my phone would not connect to the GetItNow service, my picture messages would start sending but time out. Saying Error sending message. I upgraded to the modified firmware version 8700_01.02.SD about a year ago. What I noticed is when my phone updates using the *228 feature, It would change my phone number under the Settings>Security>Data Connection>1XRTT> password = 000000 wrongnumber@vzw3g.com. When I changed it back, GetItNow would work, but picture messaging still won't. Verizon basically keeps telling me I need to update to the latest software version?

hey I just ordered my v710 and I had a few questions regarding the transflash cards. How do I connect the card to my computer to put mp3s on the card? And when I take a picture with the phone can i save it directly to the transflash card? If mp3's and pictures are stored on the card and not on the phones memory can the pics be used for picture caller ID, and the mp3's be set as ringtones for specific contacts? thanks

How come when i go to my outbox- some of the messages are checked... and some of them are not? does anyone know what that means??

I just bought my phone from ebay and it looks like it's new had screen protective plastics and what not but i think it may be refurbished...well the problem is that when i make a call i can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me... i can hear myself in my own phone like the mic is feeding back to my speakers or something...if i use a headset the other person can hear me...i would appreciate it someone knew a quick fix for this problem cause i really don't want to send it back and wait for a new one..i was thinking could the mic be backwards or something? if so how do you take this phone apart, i really don't want to leave any noticable marks on it just in case i have to return it. I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem I am having transferring pictures from my phone. I can transfer from my computer to my camera and it occurs very fast. When I take a picture with my phone and try to transfer it back to my computer it takes a long time and the phone cancels the connection after about 45 seconds. Anyone have any suggestions? I am using mobile phone tools with a USB cable to my computer.
