Does anyone one know if the 7000 will be dual-mode or tri-mode? On the description on PhoneScoop it mentions it has analog on the VX-7000A variant. What are they talking about with this variant?

If it is dual-mode then the 9900 does have one distinct advantage in addition to the fact that the 9900 has a speakerphone. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks..

I just confirmed that the 7000 will launch on or before june 25th to coincide with Video Messaging. Video Messaging will be just like sending a Picture Message, so it will use the same pool of messages. Video Messaging will be %50 off untill September of 04 then it will move from $0.25 to $0.50 if you pay as you go, or if you go over your allotment of picture/video messages.

On the VX6000, you can only store 20 pictures in the photo gallery. Does anyone know how many pictures can be stored in the photo gallery of the 7000? Hopefully more.

I just bought my wife a LG VX4600. I also ordered Datapilot software and the USB Data Cable Combo pack. Does anyone know if this cable and software is compatable with the new LG VX7000

I noticed that the pictures of the LG vx7000 on this site are slightly different from those on the LG site (http://us.lge.com/Product/proddetail.do?acti on=mobile&prodId=VX7000&categoryId=0401). Specifically, I'm talking about the coloring on the back of the phone and the stub antenna. On LG's site those parts are silver, while here on phonescoop they are blue. Personally, I prefer the blue. Anyone know the true color straight out of the box? Thanks.

Called asking about my new every two to make sure I wouldn't loose it if I went out of contract. BTW it stays for 6 months after your contract ends.

As long as I had her on the phone, I started asking about camera phones. 😁 The CS rep told me wait a little while, in about 30 days new camera phones will be out. She said she couldn't tell me which ones, so I asked.. Motorola? LG? She gave in and told me Motos are still in testing (710 and 810), and LG 7000 is coming in less than 30 days, they are just "waiting". She looked it up and it showed AMPS so she said unless they change something it will be the tri-mode variant vx7000a as listed on the info page.

I want this phone already has the time came yet for this phone to come out

I can't decide if I should get the 7000 or wait the two or three months and get the 8000. Does anyone have any idea as the what the price difference may be? With all of the features listed for the 8000 it seems improbable that it will come out late this summer. I don't know....

Wont be any new phones out before Father's Day... Let's hope for July 13th.

Anybody know if Radio Shack will Carry the 7000? If so they would be a great sell. Also, I am leaning towards the Samsung a670 but now that I'm looking at this phone I'm not so sure...any suggestions?

With the new phones coming out in the next 2months the 7000 seems to be the best. Higher framrate for video, mp3 ringers, LG manufactured Awesome UI and much more...what more could you ask for besides a mp camera and bt...I guess ill just wait for the 8000!

Just received word....this phone is set to be released at the launch of video messaging. Phone price has not been specified.
However, there will be a promo for the video messages (50% off until September 15th).

It has been written before and it continues to be true. If you don't see it on ebay the week before, it is not coming out soon.

In other words, if you do not see the 9900 or 7000 on ebay next week, forget about it for the 15th. Too many people at VZW with the opportunity to make a buck that this will not be true 100% of the time.

As soon as someone sees one on ebay we know it will be within a week.

i keep reading these posts and hear about other phones like the CDMA8900 and v710...i was thinking of buying the vx7000 when it came out...so which phone is better?

There has yet to be a better phone that has a speakerphone than the V60S. Everyother speaker phone for Verizon has been useless!!!!!!! And I have had them all!!!!!!! I seriouslly did!! So dont worry about a speakerphone because if it did it would probablly suck!!
