Finally 4.0.4

Just got it the other day. Its like having a whole new phone. The only thing im having an issue with, and its really more of a nit pick, is that when I order my apps alphabetically It still acts like they are in separate folders like it was with gingerbread.

I will say that im glad there already is a root option though, because the bloatware that comes on it is ridiculous.

Syncing Contacts

2 synching problems I have run into that I would greatly appreciate some help with:

1) Sales rep at verizon store transferred my old contacts into my Spectrum and when my gmail synced with my contacts, I was left with many duplicate contact entries

2) Not all of my friends facebook profiles synced with my contacts...and some that did went in the wrong spot, but when I try to edit contact, it says I cannot remove the profile from this device. Is there a way to fix these facebook problems?

Thanks for any help provided.

What about Droid 3??

Typical Verizon behavior, update the newest phones, and an odd mix of older phones...
This lack of support for EVERY phone that should get this update, and your bloatware apps that you try to push on us, is the reason that people (not me...yet) root their phones.

What's the hold-up?

Why are taking there time getting, ICS? If it's download soon, then the phone is worth something!!!

Said it before and I'll say it again...

Glad I bought the dev device 🙄 No more of this B.S. It's freakin March and still only the Nexus devices have ICS. If you want timely updates people, BUY THE DEV DEVICE!!! "Later this year" 🙄 🙄 🙄

Will this one be better than Revolution?

I have had most LG phones since they started the first camera phones which was LG VX6000 and continued on with great phones that took very good pictures like the Voyager, first EnV and the EnV Touch. Now I get Revolution and it has been worst LG phone ever, nothing but problems so I'm wondering if the Spectrum will make up for the bad Revolution?

LG always seems to have poor voice quality

The Esteem on MetroPCS is terrible. Voices garbled and robotic sounding.

Helps

CDMA is a predominantly U.S. utilized technology for widespread service. China upped the smart curve by using C-SIMS(CDMA SIM cards) on their devices.
Putting GSM international roaming capabilities with these phones is a nice touch. There are lots of people that prefer VZW to GSM carriers in the U.S. And yes, there are people that travel alot internationally and having not to rent GSM capable phones is a welcomed convenience. 🙂
