Dual band to Tri band??

hello,

I recently came back from a short visit in Asia. I used my ericsson T226 to communicate with others there (mostly texting..etc). The sim card i used had a roaming feature which i could activate an hour before my flight to the states. However, when I came back home, my phone had no signal. I later contacted the sim card company overseas and was told that my phone had to be a tri band in order for the cellphone to even work.
I'm no expert in these "tri bands" and such...i do know that the ericsson is a dual band. Is it possible to convert a dual band phone to a tri band?

Just wondering...an answer to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

Downloads from PC

Is there a way to download games and ringtones from my PC to the T226 with the DCU-11 USB cable?

T226 sim card compatibility?

Will my T226 SIM card fit other Sony Ericsson phones? My wife's arthritis makes it difficult to access the small buttons. We're locked into the Cingular plan and want to try a larger phone with the same plan.

Need help unlocking T226

I have a T226 that I no longer need and would like to unlock it in order to sell.

I got the unlock code from a Cingular tech but have no idea how to use it.

Please understand that I need you to type your reply slowly so that I can follow each step one by one.

Also, what do you think the T226 with camera, travel charger and flashlight might be worth?
