Absolutely the best phone to use as an alarm clock

I have one of these from 2003 and I still use it to this day as an alarm clock. I put some of my favorite midis in there and I wake up every morning to either pacman theme or U2 - beauiful day.

It's got excellent bluetooth syncing capability with macs, which is why I bought it in the first place. Also works well as backup internet connection in case your broadband goes down.

increasing ring tone?

Is there any way to turn off the increasing ring tone? I see the setting for it, but set to "on" or "off", it's always increasing.

I have the AT&T version of this phone, does anyone else have this problem, and has anyone figured out a way to fix it?

Thanks.

Only ONE difference between the T610 and T616 ????????

Comments on either the T610 or the T616 are highly needed (BOTH THE GOOD AS WELL AS THE BAD), even if you do not know the answers to the following 3 questions......

--------------------------------------------- --

I have been doing research on both the T610 and T616. Thus far the ONLY differences I can see is that the T610 operates using GSM 900 vrs the T616's GSM is operating at 850.

1) Can someone tell me if one is "better" than the other?

The weird thing is that the T610's GSM is 900 (you would naturally think that a higher number is better). If 900 is better, then why is the T616 (a suspose upgrade to the T610) using only 850???????

2) When trying to find who I should purc...

Darn cable problems...

Hi all,

Like a ton of people (i'm sure), I can't get the phone to coordinate with the cable. I've installed the drivers, i've installed the programs, and yet, no dice.

Any ideas at all? A website I should go to?

Thanks for any ideas!

Bluetooth connection problems

Ok fellow phone fanatics. I have had this phone for about 2 months now and have been trying to connect my phone to my desktop computer through bluetooth. I have the Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard and mouse Windows XP Pro. I can get the phone to be seen and i can see the computer but i can not connect them to send my files image or ringtones. The software that was included only looks for the phone connected via data cable. Has anyone had similar problems if so is there a work around?

If you have any information just email me please. gtjud@hotmail.com.

Sony Bluetooth

I just purchased my belkin bluetooth usb adapter f8t001 from ebay and have been trying to get it to work with my sony t616 phone.

I installed the software but there seems to be so many different settings necessary that i'm getting extremely confused.

Has anyone else had any issues getting their bluetooth network up and running.

I would appreciate some help if anyone has gotten theres to work.

Thanks.

Cingular reception?

Has anyone else had problems with this phone's reception on the cingular network? I had the phone for 3 days, and I loved the features and design, but the signal kept dropping, and i'm an agent for cingular wireless, and my t720 works so much better as far as reception. i couldn't even get full signal in my store, but with almost any other cingular phone, i can. It's a shame that such an awesome phone has to have that downfall...
