Motorola V600

fellows, in the mmode gameroom select phone model motorola,and one of the phones it is showing games for is the V600.GOT TO BE GETTING CLOSE.

well guys teptation mixed with no patience, cost me $225. the v500, unlocked, though vodafone branded is terrible. i cannot get any service by my house, and i have at&T, each time i start the phone it tells me available carriers, cingular or att, its extremely annoying the internet doesnt work. my advice is to wait for an american phone. the v500 dont get. come bak layta for more of my story

wat up people, like you gives i have been waiting for this damn phone to come out for a long time. I just got an email from Motorola after asking them about the V600....maybe this will clear some pplz confusion...althought people have been saying this all over this forum

Regarding your question, we are expecting the Motorola V600 to be launched by the last week of February 2004. Actually, there was a delay, due to licensing issues with the FCC . We apologize for the inconvenience this might cause you.

I just wanted to say - I too am anxiously awaiting the V600, and have been like all of you... but in a weak moment, I settled for the SE T616 with a new sub to cingular (i needed a new phone & service), as a temp untill the V600 comes out (I'll wait for Cingular's version, now that ATT will be Cingular).

The point is that i am SO pleased with the T616 - I never imagined that such a tiny phone could have so many features, connectivity, ease of use and as flip form fan, this little candy bar is really growing on me - and I've gone agead and order the Moto HS 810 to use with it. Another cool feature - I xfered all my contacts, dates, tasks etc from my sprint treo 600 via IR, with no problems or conflicts at all! AND it was $99 after rebate...

I was at the Super Bowl and @ the NFL Experience AT&T had a major booth - The V600 was there and live. I only got to play with it for a few minutes but it looked really great for the little time i used it. Before the game started the gave one away to a randome person in a seat number they flashed on the big screen. That makes me wonder what the hold up is if people have it???

So far pairs up flawlessly with tht T616 - although the manual makes mention to the V600 in many sections.

The headset itelf - very slick, tiny, light weight, and good sound quality...

if any one has any prior experience with this device,or pair, please letm know feedback...

I just noticed that when you go to eonline one of their ads on the page is for the V600. It's a small pinkish box that appears on the left hand side of the screen for me. That's the first online ad I've seen outside of the motorola website. Just an observation. I really wish they would get their act together and at least present a unified response on the release date, etc. when people call or email. I honestly believe this phone will be coming out in the next several weeks but until I actually see one I won't believe it. My fingers are crossed but my excitement has been all used up by the "false starts". Too bad someone from Motorola doesn't monitor this board and contribute from time to time. That happens on the home theater boards ...

😁 I just called Cingular - Houston. They will have the v600 Monday.

for what it's worth: Heard again from the Warner Bros AT&T REP. He further confirmed the second week in March for the v600, said the price should be approx. $399 to start and said that the Cingular-AT&T merge is so big and convoluted that AT&T and Cingular wireless customers will not see changes until well into 2005.

I just got a date from 2 different NBO reps... One is AMy and the other is Kevin.. THey both said next Monday, and Amy even said possibly Friday....

🤭 wats up people, welll i just wento to my local guy with all the news on phones... welll wat he said to me was he went to his wholesaler and the guy told him that the unlocked us verison of the v600 costs $700, he'll get it for $800, wird right. welll then he tried to sell me the v500, which blew my mind away. it had pretty good looks and im pretty much gettin it. anything wrong wit this . please respond.

Has anybody used this site before? They are currently offering the v600 with service for either T-Mobile and Cingular, along with other phones that I was interested in getting (ie the SE Z600, Nokia 6600, and the Nokia 3660) The v600 is still a little pricey, so I was looking into getting another phone. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Anyone here have Cingular? I had already thought about buying the V300 and going with T-Mobile (cancilling my Att), BUT I really like the MMODE features. Is Cingulars version of the internet comperable to ATT? Is it usefull info or is it just crap?

It is updated..

I've been checking Motorola's V600 website like EVERYDAY and has everyone noticed that it has changed..instead of "Coming Soon" it has "Tell us what you think" there is a TV ad, and you can download all the ringtones and games for the phone now.
So does this mean that Motorola and AT&T may be on the same page with a release date?

Just my thoughts..what do you guys think?

I just called 1.866.buy.moto and the guy id number 81140 told me that the phone will be out before the end of february exclusively to at&t wireless.... Take it for what you will...

I sure hope he is right....I am so tempted just to buy an unbranded, unlocked one here locally selling for $600.00-$650.00
