Hey guys, I didn't get a chance to catch the superbowl. Did anyone see any v600 commercials in it. I thought that Moto might air some.

No, sadly no V600 ads. As a matter of fact, not ONE wireless ad at all! not for any company, not for any technology! I was shocked! I watched the whole thing then visited AOL's commercial site to confirm. And I told some of my co workers to expect to see it ::sigh:: I guess you know you're sad when youi don't give two ****s about the game and you watch the entire 4 hours of a dragging Super Bowl to hopefully see a Motorola commercial to trumpet the launch of a phone that should've came out last year. Damn. I should've been the one the Donkey fart let on fire. (That WAS the best commerical, hands down!)

Actually they did air a V600 commercial!! They said that it would be coming soon, no release date given, but in small print on the commercial it something about an offer expiring 3/31/04. So hopefully they will put it out to give us time to act on whatever offer they are offering. They showed quick flashes of the phone and they showed someone using the bluetooth earpiece

I'm curious as to when this aired? I watched the entire Super Bowl front to back. AND it is NOT on the Super Bowl commercial website. They listed ALL of the commercials, even the stupid truth commercials and every single car commercial.

🙄 You guys must have been blind. I watched the entire Superbowl including the pre-show and I saw the Motorola V600 commerical about 5 times.

I watched my Tivo recording several times and couldn't find the commercial. I get DirecTV. Could it have been only on some cable markets or air markets? Who ever has seen the commercial, can you say what other commercials were around it?

I also am in the Chicago market and I too saw the v600 commercial twice. Once in the first quarter and a second time right after halftime. I hope it comes out sometime this week.

It did not actually air until after the game was over. It was between the post-game stuff and Survivor. I have both cable and Directtv, and it aired on BOTH.

As I said, I live in Houston and it was aired on CBS numerous times. Motorola also aired the same V600 commercials during the NFL playoffs a few times. 🤣

It aired 3 or more times in the Philadelphia market during the Super Bowl.

Also during the NFC championship games as well.

Obviously market specific advertising.

... my GUESS:

The v600 will be available later today (Feb 2nd) for only the four test markets, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Seattle where the superbowl commercial aired ... I'm thinking that because why would Motorola/AT&T advertise it to excite everyone in these areas if it wouldn't be available the next business day? 🙂

The other date I've heard, Feb. 8th/9th ... is probably the launch date for the rest of the U.S, 🙄

Of course these are just my guesses 🙂

Your guesses are wrong. Wouldn't the commercial say, "available tomorrow", not "available soon". I would not expect it today.

hmm ... isn't "tomorrow" also included in "soon"? 🙄 I may be wrong ...

but maybe not! I just called the first local AT&T store here and they don't have it yet but it could come in at any time, even today, they said. 🙂

I think you have it confused with an Acura commercial. The Acura commercial hyped bluetooth as a feature, but it had nothing to do with the Motorola or the V600

Nah, i dont think i got it confused, it said motorola and V600, you must have blinked and missed it. it came on, find someone who taped the game and look for it after halftime.

Well, I guess if you're right a bunch of other fan boys will jump on and tell me I'm wrong. Otherwise, all I have to go on is that website.
