COMSEC Issue - VERY SERIOUS

I like the ruggednes, clean design, the loudness and the water resistance BUT...

Issue Number 1- There is a SERIOUS COMMUNICATION SECURITY ISSUE with this phone. I am very fortunate to have figured it out shortly after getting it. Here's what happens:
1. I am writing a text message to person A.
2. Person B sends me a text message - I ignore it.
3. I send my message to person A.
4. The phone sends it to person B by mistake.

so, if you ever talk about anybody, its possible that they will get your message about them. BOOO!

Brigade's MAJOR glitch?

Has anyone else with the Brigade had any issues with the phone restarting at random when you're just sending a txt msg or something else? Just wondering... VZN said that they couldn't find any of these issues... but has anyone else experienced them? Just wondering. Thanks. I just got the phone Saturday and every day it's been shutting off... I am debating on whether to return it period, getting a new phone, or a replacement... Please help!

forced data plan = epic fail

so let me get this straight.

the phone is $250 after rebate + $10 a month extra for 2 years. for a crippled, locked down brew handset.

this phone costs more than the droid. more than any blackberry.

verizon is living in a fantasy land

makes me sad.

I just was forced to upgrade due to busting my phone and not being able to go very long with out a phone. I currently work at a call center for t-mobile but just recently landed a job working on cargoships in the great lakes. I fear my lil motorola Rival will just not make it very long out there. This phone would be perfect on all levels and full price is just out of my price range 😢

My dad actually has been using 2 type-s (one for work and one for personal use) since release and they have been amazing considering he works in consturctual steel (actually backed over the one with his semi). The past few g'zone models have been a little disappointing and finally we get something worth having.

You could call my family some g'zone ...
