Has anyone been able to connect at 3G speed on the storm? If so what city? I am in NYC and have not been able to which I am very surprised about. Also can this phone load websites to look like desktop browsing and not the mobile page? I've tried sites like espn, cnn, nytimes and others, and I get the mobile site for all. Any feedback is appreciated. thanks.

The Storm doesn't say "3G" on it's display. You will see a "1XEV" icon in the upper right hand corner. 1XEV is Verizons lingo for 3G 😁
