Music, Bold, and Bluetooth

I was able to get the bold this weekend 😁
Now I am wondering if there is anyway to send the music to a bluetooth headset. I don't mind buying a new bluetooth if there is one that will work.

Thanks

Camera Issue...

Is anyone else having an issue with the camera application not opening? I get a pop up that says something about closing other apps first, so i do, but then it still doesnt open unless i hard reboot the phone. Let me know if this is a common issue with the Bold, or if its just me.

Bold as MP3 Player

I'm needing a new phone in a bad way and am eligible for an upgrade. I'm thinking about the Motorola Z9 but also toying with idea of a smartphone.

My question isthis: is the MP3 player function of the Blackberry Bold very good?

Pressure on LCD

The fact that simply adjusting the volume will put ample pressure on the LCD to wash it around scares me. Friggin awesome phone, and BB maps is a great tool on here once the theme is changed. I imagine everyone has the same screen issue, correct? No super-thick protective screen this time round

Bold or Storm

I've been hearing mixed reviews about the Storm but I hear only superb things about the Bold. Which is the better phone? I heard there was some software issues with the Storm. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Word Documents on Bold vs. iPhone

I've had many Blackberries and most recently switched to the iPhone 3G for the last few months. While some things are nice about the iPhone (like apps, etc.) the thing I like about it most is viewing Word and Excel attachments - which really was the only thing I did not like about previous Blackberries.

So the question to those owning the Bold -- has viewing Word/Excel documents improved? I am ready to ditch the iPhone and go back!!

BlackBerry virgin here (locked/unlocked question)

Hi,

I have the Nokia E51 right now, love it and all, but I now realize I really need a full-sized smart phone. I thought the candy bar sized phone is all I need, and even though I am an Apple Fan Boy, I have zero desire to get the iPhone. I do have the iTouch, and it is neat, and 3G on it would make it better, but I don't want it for a phone.

Anyways, I did see the small form factor BB, and was intrigued by it, people at work have it and seemed need but forgot about it.

I was then looking at new Nokia phones (I am a Nokia fan since my first one in 1999), and saw the E71. It had a very black berry feel to it, and was really going to get it, then I realized it is the same phone as I got now, just different form factor.

The reaso...

GSM Storm

I recently watched the hands on video of the storm, courtesy crackberry.com. They show the Storm having a SIM card tray in it for Global usage. since the primarily CDMA phone has a SIM tray in it, does this mean that it will accept an at&t SIM, if the device is unlocked?

Blackberry Bold with AT&T - is Bluetooth Tethering possible?

Was hoping you guys could give me a clear answer on this.

Is it possible to use the Bold (with AT&T) as a Bluetooth modem and tether it to a laptop as such?

I know it works via AT&T's communication manager and USB, but I really want to definitively know if the Bluetooth modem function is intact or if AT&T crippled it.

Thanks.

CingularSUX

Your review makes no sense. Don't get me wrong, it's okay to not like the size of the phone, but you rank it a 2 out 5 ONLY because it's too big? The phone is a new line, it's not meant to be an upgrade to the curve, that's going to be the Javelin. You just made yourself irrelevant.

Bold Keyboard

This may be a strange question but can you change the keyboard language on this phone? For example, switch from English to Russian?

Blackberry Bold Apps!!!

I was wondering if any of you would know if the Bold is capable of running A VPN? More specifically VNC! This is so i can access my network for work. If the BB Bold can do this then I will definitely pick one up. But, if it doesn't, I will have to go with a win mobile phone like the HTC Fuze. So make my day and give me some good news!!! 😁

Can You Manually Switch AT&T Bold From 3G To Edge

Does anybody know if I purchase an AT&T branded Bold will I be able to switch it from 3G to Edge Manually. I had the Iphone 3G and the 3G service would show 1 bar of service in certain areas, but since it showed 1 bar of service the phone would remain in 3G. 1 bar of service had terrible call quality. I would switch it to Edge manually since the phone would not do it and with Edge I had a full 5 bars of service. To make a long story short...I returned the Iphone 3G and I am interested in purchasing the new Bold but only if I can manually switch it from 3G to Edge if I don't get a good amount of bars of service. If I can't switch it manually then I may be stuck with 1 bar of service in 3g. It seemed like the Iphone only switched from 3G to Ed...

Backberry Bold vs Blackberry Storm

Even though the Storm isn't technically out until 11/21/2008, has anyone seen and tried both units to compare. I have Verizon now, which has the Storm, but since I am not under contract now I can switch to AT&T if the Bold is a better devise. This is not about the carrier only the phones.

iTunes and BB Bold

Anyone yet to sync their library or favorites in iTunes to the Bold? Any complications doing so? Can you sync DRM copyrighted material?

Thanks in advance! 😁
