8830 vs moto q9m. HELP!

I have NO idea which one I should invest in. If anyone can help me that would be great. I really love having a camera on my cell phone, I use it often. Although, I am starting to realize the battery, email, OS, and overall quickness of the blackberry outweighs the camera on the Q9M. also, the blackberry provides GSM coverage around the world. ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS???
thank you

Things I use phone for...
-email
-web browsing, alot
-phone
-text messaging (alot)
-hopefully camera, obviously not on the BB

also my thumbs would be on the larger side... if that helps

Opera

Can the Opera mobile browser be downloaded to the Q9M? Is it faster than the IE Expolorer that is on the Q9M?

reception

What is the feedback on the reception issue? I held off this phone because I read three reviews that said the signal strength was weak. Can any users comment on this? Thanks.

Picture Mail

Does anyone know how to recieve your pix mail on the phone without having to go through Vzwpix.com? My 6700 could do it...there's not much difference between the two...even my blackberry 8830 did it...what's goin on...?

Windows Media Player

Has anyone used the media player on the Q? What formats does it support? Can you add your mp3's and videos by just dragging and dropping? Or do you have to use the data cable?

is that a status light indicator?

looking at the phone, at the top right hand corner of it, just above the screen is a little white circular thing, it appears to be a status light that maybe blinks red and or green? Does anyone know what this is? and if it is a status light how do you turn it on? thanks a lot

text messaging

Can you text on a Motorola Q9m if you do not have a data package?
I really only need these features: phone, texting and calendar.
Would like the larger calendar that a smart phone offers but don't need the data package.
Thanks

Email Impractical with Q9

I am your run-of-the-mill "E-tard", and even I find this unbelievable!

I set up my email using my Outlook account. Because my business email is very public, I receive over 200 spam emails a day. I have a spam filter on the Outlook account.

Once my email was configured thru the Q auto-sync, I would receive these unwanted spam emails because the emails were pulled from the server, not my inbox. I was told this was the only possible way to do this. My only option was to only allow specific senders thru my VERY LIMITED push preferences. This is not practical either, as I need to get email from people contacting me thru my business website.

But that's not the worst part! There is no option to block attachments on emails coming to the ph...

You CAN adjust the sound

There's a control in the Accessories folder called Audio Enhancement. You can adjust the phone speakers in three categories: Surround Sound, Bass and Clarity. You can adjust all those for the headset, too, plus a control called Speaker Size. These adjustments are surprisingly effective and you can really improve the sound of the music with them.

Mediocre

Just what one would expect from the combination of Motorola and Win Mobile. Poor signal strength and sluggish performance. Tell my why I would want this phone again.
