Motorola Q9m / Q9c

thinking of switching to verizons q9m. does navigator wrk on this device

ok, I have my Caller ID blocked, but have the people in my contact list that need to know my ID prefixed with *82 infront of their number.

On my EnV all i did was select their names and then was able go back and edit the *82 out on the text/mms screen

With My Q9C i cannot find a way to edit the numbers of the people I am sending to in the txt screen.

it will show "michelle"

when i try to move the cursor through that it jumps to either before or after, not in between, so I cannot edit the info.

The only work aroun I have found is to edit my contact list and put their mobile # i text to in the "mobile phone" field and the mobile# with the *82 in the "Car Phone" field

Am I making sense?
Am I missing some setting that i can ...

i was just wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of the 'verizon wireless' banner on the home screen, ive got the display set on 'windows basic'. thanks.

When i try to play any music or any sounds on my Q9m it doesn't work. Kind of like its on mute to all system sound. When i receive a call the ringtones work, but i cant play ringtones on my own or watch a video with sound. I have already made sure the sound is up and its not on mute. Is there something I am missing? PLEASE HELP!

I have my VZW Q9c arriving tuesday hope I enjoy it because I am having very bad luck with the Curve, Just curious if anyone can tell me if the keyboard of the Q is backlit or not I was unable to tell by any listings. Maybe I just missed it, but would appreciate any input

why does the call end when i unplug the earphone???? this never happened on my prior cellphone; i should be able to alternate without having my call cut off. is anyone else having this problem on the 9c?

I'm thinking of getting the new Q9c from US Cellular, but first I have a couple questions for those people out there that already have the phone....
I had the original Q when it first came out for US Cellular and after I figured out how to get my personalized ringers onto the device so I could use them, it turned out that all texts had one universal ringer. (I was used to having personalized ringers for texts from using my RAZR). But also, the other problem was that when I set a personalized ringer as my text tone, it would continue playing thru the whole ringer, no matter if I pushed buttons on the phone to check the text or anything. The song wouldn't stop, it played the whole thing.

Does the new Q9c have these same issues? I'm rea...

I love how you can customize so much on a windows phone. I just got the Q9c today and i love it. Coming from the pearl.

I know that you need to edit registries to do stuff with the phone, like turning off that annoying message sent notification. Do any of you have any particular registry editor that you like or prefer over the others?

anybody know when alltel is getting this phone?

I am now periodically getting an internet connection error when I open internet explorer or opera. I also get the same error when I check my email. In order to correct the issue I have to reboot the Q 9c. I am on verizon's netwrok. Is anyone else having this problem. It seems like this problem must somehow be related to the windows mobile software.

Ok, so it may have the same innards as the Q9m, but just look at the chrome outer stylings! How can it not have its own scoop page? 😁

Does anyone know if the Verizon Q9c will get the Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade?

I have a customer who is looking a this phone. The customer will have Sprint's $30.00 Power Vision plan on it. Will the Sprint Radio product work on this phone?

If it does, where is it located? I can't find it anywhere on the menu.

I have been told that I can record my vmails from the Verizon system directly onto the Q9m. Is this true? If so, how can I do that? Thanks.

I've been waiting for the Q9c from verizon for months now.verizon announced that it was coming out on april 30th,but it has not come out yet and i heard they are having problems with the gps.does anybody know when this phone will actually come out !? ☹️

I went from the older Q to the new Qm, i looked at the batteries and they looked to be the same. Has anyone used an old style batt. in a newer Q?

Verizon & Motorola show a software update for the Q9M. I have 2 questions; Does anyone know what issues the update addresses, 2nd has anyone tried the update.
