Is the Qwest Wireless version the same as the Sprint version?

Do both have the same features or are they different?
Which one is better or are they both same in like everything? Not talking about the design or about the Qwest Wireless icon in front and in flip open mode.

Use MP3 for ring?

I have read about the different ways to add my own mp3 files as ringtones (using Phone Uploader, etc..), but is there any way to put them in a folder via the USB cable that came with the phone? It seems odd that there is no manual way to put mp3's in a folder and assign them to people in my contacts list. Is this a design flaw? Any advice?

Thanks!

Rumor has it........

I recently bought an M1 and I LOVE IT!!! I'm still learning about how it works, but I also heard from a Sprint Employee that you can also use the mass storage for editing your phone book (adding addresses) and calendar (adding appointments) by using your computer. In the User Guide it shows the icons for such access, but I can't figure it out 👿

Is there anyone out there who has either been able to do this or knows how to? Drop me an E-mail with answers.

Thanx,

I know you can use the MP3 player while running other app's.... but how?

"Background music playing mode - Listen to music while checking e-mail, sending text messages or browsing the Web. The Background Music Mode is supported in almost all menus except during phone or camera operation, or while using Java® applications or On Demand"

That's what is says on the sanyo web page, now how the hell do you do it. PLEASE let me know, it's the whole reason I bought this phone.

Keep Sanyo M1, or get Q?

What should I do, I want a PDA smart phone, but I only have 2 more days to decide because my 30-day grace period is almost up. I love my Sanyo M1, but would rather have a PDA phone with a keyboard. and i also like listening to music while doing other things like texting, web browsing, etc... I have Sprint FYI 😁
~Thanks 4 the advice in advance.

Mpeg4 encoding

Does anybody know of a good free/shareware program to rip DVD to MPEG4 format? There are seemingly a million programs out there, but I haven't found one that works very well. I would prefer not to have to convert to MPEG4 after the fact.

Display remains on while on charger

Whenever I plug in the charger, the display lights up and remains in its bright mode until the charger is unplugged. It does this when I use the travel charger, car charger or USB adapter. It doesn't go to dim and it doesn't turn off (even when it becomes fully charged). If open, the large display is lighted, if closed, the small screen is lighted. This is annoying as I normally charge the phone each night and I'm old enough I don't need a night light. Is there any way to turn this off without turning off the phone itself?

$400 for two M1's !!

whats up folks, i just bought 2 m1's at a local sprint store. I paid 200 a peice, plus my $150 deposit for both lines. All together it was $700 even! Did i get beat in the head or what, because now when i started to look at prices for this phone, i see them offered at $99 at some stores, not sprint stores though, i know i can get a quick refund for the $200 but the deposit money would take like 6 weeks so is it worth trying to get the phone for cheaper ?

physical defect?

Hey, I was wondering something. When your M1 is closed, can you slightly wiggle the top half from side to side. When I completely open my phone, it doesn't wiggle. I know this is kind of dumb, but I was wondering if my phone was defective. Thanks.
