Samsung SPH-M610

I have an outlook address book full of contacts. When I (briefly) had the Samsung M620 I could use transfer vCards via Bluetooth. Disliking the M620, I switched to the M610, which purportedly has the same profiles, but I can seem to make the transfer happen. Does the M610 support it?

Does the USB cable for the A900 fit the M610?
I currently have the A900 (not the A900M).

i have to rechage it EVERY night, even my nextel i870 lasted longer then this thing, and this is suppose to have over an hour more talk time, thats just simply not possible from what i have seen with my phone. Do i have a bad phone???

* Also, has anyone else ever gone from a blackberry or pda (keyboard) to this phone and how does it compare in terms of speed to type a message?
* Can you sync your phone to your computer so you won't lose your contacts if something happens to your phone?

Does anyone know anyplace that has a holster for these yet??? Are they even goning to be made? Any info would be great.

I started looking at this phone about a month ago and finally purchased it a few weeks ago.

When I first starting looking at it, there was an accessory available that would allow you to dock your phone and then receive calls to your cellphone from any landline phone in your home. It also doubled as a charger. It was about $150.

I am very interested in this accessory but can no longer find it on Sprint's site, Samsung's site, or any other site I've searched. I'm starting to think I dreamed it up! 😲

Has anyone seen this accessory (to validate my sanity) and, even better, any idea where to purchase it?

am i the only one that cant figure out how to get the phone to stop guessing what word i am going to type in next? this is the most incredibly annoying thing ive ever seen a phone do.

i've just recently noticed that my phone will not register with my picture mail account.
it won't let me send or upload any photos taken. just a message saying "the was an error trying to register your phone" i've had the phone reset twice, pic mail remove and re added, and level 3 techs service the provisioning.
still won't work anyone with any ideas as to whats doing this?
i bought the phone straight from Sprint, and the guys at Samsung and blaming them.

i got my M610 "glint" in the mail the first day it was out. long story short on that its been 3 and a half weeks since i've had it. How do i get video files to play back from the card? Is it possible and if so what file types does it support?

I was playing around with bluetooth and I connected to my friends phone and he sent me a picture. Well the picture saved somewhere, but I can't find it. Anyone knows where it saves to?

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the M610 on Verizon's network? Thanks for the help.

does anyone have info that could lead to a closure on the MicroSDHC and MicroSD compatibility? i'd like the new 4gb sandisk.

Ok before i get this phone i want to know if the external screen shows caller id im assuming that it does but its such a small screen that i cant be sure. soo if you have this phone or know anyone who has this phone PLEASE tell me.

is the camera on it a swivel like on the a900? i haven't seen one yet my warehouse refuses to send one and i want to get it but if it isn't a camera where i can see myself talking a picture of myself then forget about it.

Is there anyone who has had both the A900 and the M610?

We got the M610 a couple weeks ago, and I notice that the camera shutter speed seems really slow.

If you hold the phone really steady, and if the subject you're shooting is holding still, it takes great shots. But any movement creates lots of blur.

Of course lots of light helps, but I'm saying I think this phone is worse than most.

What I'd like to know is if the A900 shutter speed is any "quicker" than the M610. I'm not asking about shutter lag, that's something else that I can learn to live with.

We're within our 30 days, and we're considering trading back the M610 for the A900 (to save some $).

It seems possible that the 1.3MP on the A900 may allow it to b...

Hello folks.

Is the battery for the M610 same as the A900?

Every time I get a text message, I don't get the little icon or a ringer (Vibrate I usually have). I have to go to miss alerts and look in there every so often for a message. Is anyone else having this problem?

ALso, I set it as no ringer, always vibrate, will that give me the vibrate for a message? It hasn't been happening, but it might go with me not getting the message alert

I think the blade looks way better than this....the external screen looks like something we would have seen 5 years ago!
