Only Sprint devices are included in the BYOSD program. Boost and Virgin devices are not eligible for reactivation, as both are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Sprint.
This is the reply I got from John Votava of Sprint. His info was below the news release that announced this new policy

VMO and boost are not considered MVNO per John Votava of Sprint. Other companies like Ting, Voyager, etc are eligible as long as phone has a clean esn..
