Need Help Fast Please!

I have a Verizon Krzr K1m, and I have followed all the steps in making ringtones for myself. I cut my mp3 with my mac software Garage Band, and then send the file to itunes where it turns my file into an mp3. I send it through the XXXXXXXXXX@vzwpix.com and I get my new ringtone.
The problem is that it is not working anymore. I tried it today and it keeps converting the song to a QCP file instead of keeping it as a ringtone mp3. I lowered the bit rate to 96 and cut the time to 18 seconds and still it converts it to a QCP file. Can anyone help me with a solution or to another post that has the same issue and solution. Thank you soo much.
