Motorola ic502
I know sprint is together with nextel but say a customer has a sprint phone and wants to upgrade to this phone will they have to port their number to nextel or vise versa.

Even though the ic502 is a Motorola and looks like a Nextel handset, I wouldn't be surprised if it'll actually be in the CDMA side of the house as far as employee systems are concerned because it's voice as well as data services go through Sprint's CDMA network. Rumor has it that only a select few markets are initially getting the hybrid handsets this year with the rest of the country getting them starting first part of 2007.
