I have to show people how to turn their phones on after owning it 2-12 months at least a few times a week. 👿
Anybody else deal with this?

Yes, quite often. However most buttons aren't labeled power or on, so that only annoys me when I've repeated the information to them on a weekly basis.

What annoys me more is when a customer tries to walk into the backroom when there's a sign next to the door that says "employees only" and "no public bathroom".

Had a guy wonder into our back office where we had some pizza for lunch. He actually tried to reach into our box. Luckily I noticed somebody was back there. Walked back there grabed him and escorted him out of the store.

I had an out of control kid who ran in my office at one of my locations and ate all my chicken fingers from papa johns. I was pissed! The mom says "Oh Jr, are you hungry? We will go get some McDonalds when we live" Because the little s*** is still hungry? Yeah right, get out of my store and bring your disrespectful munchkin with you. (I wish I could have said that)

I'll never stop bringing this up, but that reminds me of the mom who's daughter peed on my floor. "I'm disappointed, you just went too." Then they leave...

About 2 years ago I was at the DMV to get my liscense renewed, this guy was in line in front of me, had his kid with him was probably about 3. The guy wasn't watching him real closely, the kid dropped his pants and started to pinch a loaf right on the DMV floor 😳 ...fortuneatly the guy turned around right before disaster struck and was able to get the kid to the bathroom.

Oh wait! It gets better! Maybe it's just the shallow gene pool in this area, but there are TONS of people who come into my store daily and proceed to have the following conversation with me:

Them: "My phone's dead"
Me: "What do you mean 'dead'?"
Them: "It worked fine last night, and now it just won't turn on"
Me: "Have you charged it?"
Them: "ummmmmmm Yeah I charge it"

It never EVER fails that the battery's fully discharged and it works fine when I swap a fresh one in. Now I know some are just tryin to scam a new phone, but DAMN some of these people really don't seem to understand that the battery on your phone needs to be charged REGULARLY!!! Had one earlier today that swears the indicator never turned red....which has to ...

I think the area that I'm in is a lot like the one that you're in! I get this elderly gentleman that comes in about once a week to get his phone turned back on (not the service - just the power). I show him how to do it each time, but he still brings it in. He tips me a dollar each time too (for turning the power on his phone on). I realize that he's trying to be nice, but it's almost kind of insulting.
