Of course they do not. At VZW tech, they can pull up the actual usage and let you know where you went.

How much is sprint charging for data and overages?

59.99 for 5gb
For any usage over the 5GB limit: $0.05/MB or $0.00004482/KB.

If you have a casual data usage and no feature or plan to cover it you are billed at $.03/KB.
