Question about the BB Storm...
I was doing some searching on Craigslist.com and saw somone selling an unlocked BB Storm. He was claiming that it could be used for any wireless carrier. I was under the impression that the Storm couldn't be unlocked to be used with any GSM carrier. Can this be done?

most likely it is someone trying to make some quick cash. If they were able to unlock the phone, the device would be severely crippled, and you would have no tech support... you would probably be locked to that version of the OS as well.

I work for a Verizon agent so i'm very much aware of that fact. My question was, can the storm be unlocked and used on a GSM carrier. And if you read Irish's post you'll find that my question was answered already.
