Call Center Hickups...
Anyone ever had hickups in a call center...? Not just briefly but like... all day!!! It's a nightmare..

I have before.
I also sometimes use hiccups to deescalate customers when I take sup calls. It works to calm them down and make them laugh 90% of the time when I use it. I think it happens because most people in the world have had hiccups, and I think that most people have had them at the most inappropriate moment, so they relate to that and calm down.
