Rant: This is America isn't it?
I am in a retail store, and just took a phone call, after I went into my whole thank you for calling speal, the guy on the other line just said "Yes". After about 5 seconds, I said "What can I help you with?", to which he replied "Yes". After this went on about 5 more times he replied "No speak english", I asked " Does someone with you speak english?" He said "Speaka Spanish". I then said " sorry I only speak english and ended the call.
My thoughts are, If I were to move to another country, I would first attempt to learn enough of that countrys language to be able to communicate effectively.
