its a CDMA phone that works on Helio's network, so nope no SIM cards. SIM cards are on a GSM network phone. if you read closely on the post for the helio phones by eric, you'll see that it says that if you dont have an account you either have to start one or get them to activate the phone on an existing helio account - kinda a giveaway, but yea, if you've never heard of it, there ya go...
