🙂 I'm getting a new phone next month. Currently, I have one that when you set the ringer id per contact, this is also the sound that plays when you recieve a text or multimedia msg from that contact. Does the pantech matrix do that? Or do these? : Nokia E71X; Samsung Propel; LG Xenon?
I've been looking at phones for a week and I'm having trouble getting the answers I need to decide which phone to get. 😕 I really need to know which, if any, of these cells has the feature i tried to describe above... THANKS TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP!!!!

Does anyone know if you can take a song that you have already uploaded to your phone and make it a ringtone? If so, could you please share with me how to do it. I figured out how to upload my songs onto the memory card but I really would like to have some of them for ringtones. Thank you!!

I have the LG-VX9100,and I've been using myxer.com to upload pictures for my wallpapers because the quality is so much better than the phone's camera. But I'm having trouble with the external wallpaper. The image I try to set as the wallpaper is small, no matter how big of a picture I upload. It won't fit the screen, it centers it. Is there something that I'm missing? It's probably something simple and I can't find it. ☹️ ☹️

I was wondering if anyone had more detailed specs for the Rokr z6m video playback, to be specific i need to know what the maximum bitrate the phone supports is, Im using avs to encode media in 3gp with a .mp4 header and that works, i have my framerate dropped to 23.976/ sec. and that fixed my audio to picture (no more Godzilla delay) and i know the resolution is 320x240. I have been matching the bitrates to the original divx files and it works, but the files are as large as original and i have a feeling the phone isn't decoding the full 800-1024 kbps. if anyone can help that would be awesome, and i hope the specs and program i listed may help someone else wanting to watch movies on their rokr.
