Ann Tagonist is mean

I agree with ann though not it quite so harsh a way. Class action lawsuits are strictly forbidden when you agree to the terms and conditions of AT&T wireless, not that that really matters since the judgement in the last class action lawsuit was 5 dollar calling cards. Now doesn't that just seem so worth your while, imagine the looks on all your friends faces when you tell them you sucesfully sued a multi-billion dollar company and won, and they ask you how much you got, you can with a big sloppy grin u whip out that phone card. I say screw class action lawsuits it's my opinion that the results would be much better if you went to Judge Judy, sure she'll yell at you and call you a moron for not reading the contract, but at least you'll be o...

Question for Cingular

Has anyone that works for Cingular heard about any staff cuts with AT&T wireless employees? If so any locations?

Calling plan and phone

Hi every one,
I am now in this forum and I need help.
Does any one know what will be the best choice of family calling plan (2 lines) and what phone would be reliable, (it it has new features like radio FM, MP3 player or camera would be nice 😁 )
I live in Austin Texas and I don't make a lot of phone calls but I travel everyday within Texas and I have from time to time some international calls.
Thanks

ATTWS Stock

Ok - I'm not too smart when it comes to stocks and such, so I figured I'd ask some fellow employees and customers... Anyhow, in the event ATTWS DOES get bought by Cingular, or anyone else for that matter - what would happen to my stock? ATTWS' stock is rising quickly, and I'm getting very happy.. I just want to know if/when I should sell it!

Cingular Raises AT&T Wireless Offer

PHILADELPHIA/LONDON (Reuters) - Cingular Wireless on Friday raised its offer to buy smaller rival AT&T Wireless Services Inc., while rival Vodafone Group Plc pored over a potential bid that could value the No. 3 U.S. wireless company at $35 billion, sources familiar with the situation said.

After the 5 p.m. EST bidding passed, details of Cingular's sweetened offer were not immediately available. But sources familiar with the bid said the price topped Cingular's initial offer of $30 billion, or $11 a share.

It was not clear whether Vodafone Group Plc had pulled the trigger on its bid, but one source familiar with the talks said the company had mulled an offer as rich as $35 billion, or about $12.50 a share.

Vodafone, Cingular and AT...

Question on possible merger

If attws is taken over by cingular what is going to happen to all of their handsets? Since most are locked onto attws service would they change the codes to allow them to roam on cingulars towers? Maybe unlock them all 😁 That would send ebay into a frenzy. But it would lower prices so i can finally get the 3390 that i always wanted.

California Petition

I thought some of you might like to sign this petition & maybe we can change the way cell companies treat us.
This is copied from the site.

Hello,

Ever feel like you are living in a cell hell of dropped phone calls, dead zones, billing errors, and unexpected fees and charges? If so, you are not alone. For years, cell phone companies have played by their own rules -- often leaving us feeling cheated and dissatisfied, with nowhere to turn.

That could all change in the next few weeks. California is considering establishing essential protections for telephone customers, including millions of cell phone users throughout the state.

But here's the catch. Cell phone companies are trying to kill or weaken the proposed rules. Worse, at ...

New Sony Ericssons

A video has surfaced that appears to be official Sony Ericsson material, showing two excellent-looking new models - one T630 successor, and one new swivel model similar to the amazing Sony Ericssons for DoCoMo in Japan.

These are both definitely new GSM models. Japanese carriers don't let manufacturers plaster their logo all over the phones the way they've done with these.

What's the latest???

Does anyone have any inside info on the AT&T sale/merger/whatever-you-wanna-call-it ???

What will the impact be if the SBC crowd acquires ATTW? Is this good for the American GSM arena?
