I just got a brand new Pearl Gray RAZR for free that I plan on using for a while to become familiar with MyFaves and selling on eBay.

The more they put into phones the more chance of something going wrong. IMO
I agree. The HP ipaq h6315 is a prime example of this. When a phone tries to do EVERYTHING, it can't seem to do ANYTHING well.

I'm still wondering, Why make such an advanced phone for Cingular, but not make it 3G?
My guess is that it's just a first model and that there will be other more advanced models later.

Wow, this is a quiet place. In other wireless forums T-Mobile people are really upset that cingular (again) gets an exclusive on the new Apple iPhone with some saying that they're going to go to cingular because of this whiz-bang phone.

I have a cell phone from Tmobile. I have an IPOD Nano. Why do I need to spend $500 to $600 to have it all in the same package? They are both small. Besides, Tmobile has much better coverage than Cingular/AT&T in my area. Not worth the switch.

why pay that $600 for a phone? not mention you need to be lockup for 2 years, and rumors say iXxxxx does not have SIM slot

If it's GSM (which is what cingular is) of course it has a place to insert a SIM! You never activate a phone with GSM it's always a SIM card.

Ahh, but there is an IMEI involved.
