T-Mobile How Dare You !

How dare you send me a gift of a free Samsung t209 cell phone because I have been a loyal customer for almost 3 years! If I sign up for 2 years?
What kind of piece of crap gift / trade off is that?

Look at the ratings and reviews that phone gets! It is GARBAGE.

Why don't you impress me and at least offer a Motorola PEBL? You have no problem giving it to new customers on your website!
I have used the same phone since day one and I deserve a little better gift than a Samsung t209. If I am going to sign up for another 2 years then I am a new customer!
I know you want new customers but don't forget the ones who are currently supplementing your paychecks!

👿 Does your cable provider give you a free month of service for being a loyal customer? 👿 Does your gas company give you a discounted rate cause you have had service for 2 years????

Quit crying and acting like you have the world coming to you. Remember it costs new customers a $35 activation fee.

And by the way, I've had 2 pebls and they are garbage.

You should feel lucky cause t209 costs regular upgrading customers $59.99 and then they get a $50 mail-in rebate.

You wanna know how much a t209 costs me? $89.99 👿 👿 👿

I will whine all I want. Everybody gets to give their opinion on this forum, be it a whine, something positive, whatever.
You boys miss the point completely. No Tmobile did not have to offer me anything but they did and it is garbage.
Do I think it is wrong for some new customer to be offered a better phone then me? Yes I do.
If you don't like my comments on a topic then go to the next one. If I want your opinion I will ask for it.

The T209 is garbage why? cause you read a review that said it was? You let other people make decisions for you all the time?

New customers have to pay $35 activation. Go ahead, cancel your service, reactivate with a new number, pay the $35 just so you can get a Pebl you big baby.

Obviously you are new to forums. Let me help you out, nobody here is dumb...we all know its your opinion, i'm just giving you mine whether you like it or not.

With your "me, me, me" attitude, I wouldnt give you 2 cans and a string to talk on.

T-mobile sent you that letter as a response knowing that you were near contract end or that your contract was ending letting you know that it was almost time for your to see about upgrading it wasn't saying upgrade this now it was letting you know as a courtesy not to slap you in the face. Why didn't you bother calling the number on the letter they'd have been happy to go over all the options avaliable to you. Quit assuming you know everything that the company has to offer you when you don't even bother to take a peak of what the promotion was really about and assumet the worst and whining like a little baby that sure is to get you far in life.

T-Mobile offered the PEBL online for free to anyone who wanted to upgrade about 3 weeks ago. I got one, my girlfriend got one, and my buddy got one. And neither one of us qualified for the FULL discount on upgrades. In fact, my girlfriend upgraded a month or 2 prior to this offer.

Maybe if you did a little research, you would have seen ALL your options.

Here's a bit of advice... use the phone you accepted as an upgrade offer for a week. If you don't like it, send it back. You have 14 days to do that.

Why don't you all try using your phone as a phone instead of crying about the camera not working or your mp3's not playing 👿

I have given up the phone deal for another 2 years
I'd go for the route for unlocked phones
the money saved on monthly plan and service options is enough to buy a W810i in a year, then why care to get bound for another 2 years for locked phones, right?

I wouldn't get the Pebl if it was free and offered without any contract. PDA's are the best.

And what the heck is wrong with the PEBL? I've had it for a couple weeks now and the only problem I have with it is the automatic camera setting. Sometimes it doesn't adjust to the light the way my v360 did. Not a big problem to me though.

I have no need for a PDA or SmartPhone (at this time) and the PEBL does everything that I need a phone to do... take pictures, send and recieve text messages, get online and um, make calls. Plus, the reception is GREAT on it.

Just my opinion on the PEBL... if anyone wants to put me in my place, please do so.

The main problem I have with the Pebl is how much the handset is worth. I always thought that if the Moto V360 could have an MP3 player, why not the Pebl or the Razr when it was first launched instead of over a year later? The new Razr has one now but the V360 came out last year and it comes with a memory card.

Plus the PEBL didn't have EDGE!! The V330 had EDGE but they didn't put it on the PEBL or the RAZR. Try using Mini Opera or Google maps with the PEBL. Its terribly slow.

I had 2 PEBLs, and both of them had bugs in the software. I had to take my battery out on a number of occasions to reset the phone.

The rubberry coating on the oustide would kinda chip with use of a holster.

P.S. The V360 was a sweet phone. T-Mo should bring it back now that cingular has the V365.
