8100 "pearl" no go on mp3 transfer via bluetooth?

title says it all. i think transferring pictures is okay, but i have not been able to do mp3 transfer? input would be appreciated...

In my training for the Pearl we were told the bluetooth has been locked for transfers of multimedia files. But it comes with a data cable and desktop software to do the transfer.
