T-Mobile removed wap access

In January I started a Family plan witch advertised unlimited wap access. This month they have blocked access to yahoo, manufacture sites, and everything but T-zones. T-zones is btw WORTHLESS! I called 611 and they maintain that this feature that enticed me to choose T-Mobile over Verizon was never intended to be functional. It was an error in there system that allowed unlimited wap access without also paying for unlimited Tzones (which I don’t want). I am not happy.

Can they be enticed to fulfill the one-year contract that we entered?

You were never supposed to have anything other than default WAP access in the first place. The default feature allows downloading of ringtones and games and such without having to subscribe to full on TZones. The access to other WAP sites was accidental and has been corrected, and you still have the default access you were promised, as well as having had eight months of access you didn't pay for.

The problem, at lease for me, is that there is no way at all to access sites like yahoo now. According to the T-mobile Rep I spoke to, even if you sign up for TZone, you still won't have access to websites that're not part of the TZone parthnership.

What? 😑 that's not even true. With T-zones you are able to access all wap sites. And yes, yahoo is included. I have T-zones for $4.99. You were misinformed πŸ˜‰ 😁

That's good to know, I guess I'll pay for T-Zone for a month and find out myself. Thanks. 😁

πŸ™‚ Just keep in mind that once you add it to you plan, it'll take 48 hrs to be activated again. Oh! another thing, make sure you have your phone # registered on T-Mobile.com.. If you don't know the procedure, click on the following link:
https://www.t-mobile.com/mytmobile/login/ »
just type in your mobile # in the yellow space, and hit submit.
