I don't have a RAZR. 🙄 I have never had a RAZR, nor do I ever plan on buying a RAZR. I posted it in here b/c I was reading about the "new" phones that T-Mo is getting. If you want to know my need to vent against the RAZR is b/c working in tech, every other call is a RAZR. Every other multiple ...

did you every stop to think the reason you see so many is because they sell the crap out of them, the razr is a great phone, atleast on the verizon network 🙂 you sure got a hatred for a phone you never have even used yourself
I understand that there are a lot of RAZRs out there, but over HALF my calls are RAZRs. Tech is the only ones that do multiple handset exchanges now, and they're almost all for RAZRs. I do have a lot of hatred for a phone I have never used. When Cingular first came out with it, I didn't see the appeal. And then Cingular reps started complaining about the phone and I was relieved we didn't have it. Now that we have it, I feel the Cingular reps' pain with it. I went t...

I'm willing to bet that the number of returned RAZRs out of the number of RAZRs sold is not any worse than any other phone.
Did you think when you got your job that you would never have to deal with unhappy customers?
I personally think the RAZR is a great phone.

Well thats cause over half the phones we sell are RAZRs. At least thats how it is at my store.

No, but I hate when there are phones that cause MORE unhappy customers. The phones that have caused the most unhappy customers are the Moto C332, HTC ipaq, Siemens CF62T, and the RAZR.
If you want to do a Razr crusade (and good luck with beating motorolas best selling phone, crappy or not) plus you said you never had a razr, this is why i hate tech guys, they always focus on whats wrong with phones, or they hear the advice of other people who don't know how to take care of phones. without even giving it a chance your bashing it, im no fan of the phone myself, but i sell them to my friends (and so far no complaints) regardless, i simply tell them if you don't like it, simply b...

#2 i don't hate YOU, i say forget what people say what they hate about the phone, say why YOU hate the phone, why don't YOU like it (after actually trying it out of course), i just hate it when people hate the phone without trying it out and come here to complain about it.
#3 i am by no means defending the razr, i just sick of people coming to carriers instead of the phone's forum, especially the razr.
#4 do tech or cc ever get a call about how much people love the phone? they might, cept they get more calls over why they hate it. you think people don't call me or tell me why they hate it? of course i do, i've been in cs for years. does that make it fair to hat...

I never call tech support cause I've used every phone for at least a week.

Exactly!! I'm confused on how you can help someone with a phone you have never had.
I never call tech support cause I've used every phone for at least a week.
That's like asking how a mechanic can fix a car he's never owned. Training, user manuals, additional research, experience with similar devices, actually handling one...just b/c I've never OWNED one doesn't mean I've never messed with one. 🙄
The RAZR is the most popular phone of all time. You posting here won't change that. Very few people read this forum in the grand scheme of things. If the RAZR weren't so popular, you wouldn't have the other phone makers trying to imitate it.
BTW, I do have the RAZR, and so does my wife and we both love it.
Also if you claim that half of your calls are about the RAZR and that was reduced to 25%, I'd have to think they would start cutting hours.

Comparing a car to a cell phone is beyond exaggeration. And you kinda contradicted yourself with the "actually handling one" part of your reply. Have you ever actually handled a RAZR?

How is it beyond exaggeration? Mechanics can fix cars they've never owned, why can't a tech fix a phone they've never owned? I'm sure if you take your TV to a repairman, he's probably never owned your TV...do you feel that he wouldn't be able to fix it? Do you think that members of The Geek Squad have owned every type of computer they've ever fixed? My husband is i...

I think the RAZRS are great, I am not naive and I see the same percentage of customers complaining about them but thats just because we sell so many of them that is simple probability.
And what do you think is easier to troubleshoot and fix a car & computer or a cell phone??? Thats why I said Exaggerated!
And if T-Mobile sells so many, why on earth would you ever, ever, ever tell people to stop buying them just cause you formed an opinion about them based on, not ever owning one, but because you are tired of doing your job when peopl...

Whether or not she's owned one isn't the point. Fixing a cell phone is easier than fixing a car or a computer however that is also not the point. The point is you don't need to own a particular car, computer, or cell phone or anything else for that matter, to know how to fix it. Use your head.
Some people just don't understand w/o the experience.

We're getting a little off track. This all goes back to, you saying "They all work like poop" Is that because you get a bunch of calls about them or you have owned one? Thats what I am trying to say.

You keep going on about how you want them to have a working phone. The RAZR is a great working phone, its simple probability that you are gonna get calls about it cause so many of them are sold, so deal with it.
And please control your affinity for mechanics.
ANd you can exchange the RAZR for the T509, a not to good phone in its own.

Looking at the upcoming phones, it's a freakin' RAZR fest! Granted, some of the new RAZR's coming out are very attractive phones, and I am a person who thinks RAZR's are ugly. I don't care about thin, I don't like flips that are rectangle. But it's still a RAZR!! That's like putting a silk dress on a pig. People of the country, PLEASE stop buying RAZR's so Moto will stop making them. They are horrible phones that don't work for poop.
Get over it. Motorola will rule the world before you know it. Our ambassador will be a RAZR V363789i.
