I understand that there are a lot of RAZRs out there, but over HALF my calls are RAZRs. Tech is the only ones that do multiple handset exchanges now, and they're almost all for RAZRs. I do have a lot of hatred for a phone I have never used. When Cingular first came out with it, I didn't see the appeal. 😎 to be honest i only kept my razr for a total of two months it worked well, but just didn't appreciate how it felt in my hand, i think i will dedicate the rest of my day to hating on it too 😉

Well thats cause over half the phones we sell are RAZRs. At least thats how it is at my store.

I'm willing to bet that the number of returned RAZRs out of the number of RAZRs sold is not any worse than any other phone.

No, but I hate when there are phones that cause MORE unhappy customers. The phones that have caused the most unhappy customers are the Moto C332, HTC ipaq, Siemens CF62T, and the RAZR.

You HATE tech guys, huh? #1, I'm not a guy, tech or otherwise. #2, tech tends to know which are the best and worst phones. CC and ret also tend to know what phones to stay away from. We're the ones who get the calls from the people who don't go into the store. We're the ones who get the calls from the dealers calling in to get help with particular phones. We know which phones we RARELY get calls on, and when we do, the issue isn't handset related, and which phones generate the most calls due to issues with the phone itself. If you want to resent that, then fine. If I want to resent a phone that causes a lot of problems, then that should be fine, as well. That's like asking how a mechanic can fix a car he's never owned. Training, user manuals, additional research, experience with similar devices, actually handling one...just b/c I've never OWNED one doesn't mean I've never messed with one. 🙄

It seems to me that phones like this is what keeps you your job, if the RAZR is such a bad phone. If it weren't for problems with phones, we wouldn't need you, or not as many of you, would we? I am a Electronics Technician and I work for a company that fixes Motorola products (not the RAZR or any other phone). I am glad that Motorola products break down. It keeps my job secure.
The RAZR is the most popular phone of all time. You posting here won't change that. Very few people read this forum in the grand scheme of things. If the RAZR weren't so popular, you wouldn't have the other phone makers trying to imitate it.
BTW, I do have the RAZR, and so does my wife and we both love it.

I had a job before the RAZR, and I'm sure I'll have a job after the RAZR (assuming there IS an after 😳 ...it may never die)

Comparing a car to a cell phone is beyond exaggeration. And you kinda contradicted yourself with the "actually handling one" part of your reply. Have you ever actually handled a RAZR?

Also if you claim that half of your calls are about the RAZR and that was reduced to 25%, I'd have to think they would start cutting hours.

Whether or not she's owned one isn't the point. Fixing a cell phone is easier than fixing a car or a computer however that is also not the point. The point is you don't need to own a particular car, computer, or cell phone or anything else for that matter, to know how to fix it. Use your head.

This is my last response to your bad reading habits. Stop telling people not to buy phones that you have never had.

You keep going on about how you want them to have a working phone. The RAZR is a great working phone, its simple probability that you are gonna get calls about it cause so many of them are sold, so deal with it.

And please control your affinity for mechanics.

ANd you can exchange the RAZR for the T509, a not to good phone in its own.
