you'd to put the voicemail box number your calling to retrieve your messages. here's the thing though carriers change v-mail providers often so you be updating that number in your faves list alot.

If that's what you're using you have your phone misconfigured. You should be using +18056377243.

Who the voicemail vendor is doesn't make any difference. The voicemail center number will likely be the same for many many years. People were using a/c/prefix/9999 for almost ten years before they changed it to the unified number
805-MESSAGE. Which voicemail platform whether it's Glenayre, Comverse or Octel doesn't make any difference whatsoever.

For over 3 years, the number to T-Mo's VM has been 18056377243, and that's for every customer regardless of where they live. I'm not really sure what you mean. ๐Ÿ˜•

i was told it was a voicemail center but each users phone dials a different number into the center.

i know for a fact in harrisburg, pa area last january that number changed for us. some of the newer phones auto updated but the older nokia's and motos we had to reprogram in our store.

T-Mobile has had a unified voicemail center number for the last three years at least +18056377243 and it's highly unlikely that it will be changing again. Prior to that people were using a combination of things depending on where they have service and depending on whether it was an acquired network (such as Omnipoint, Aerial, Powertel, DigiPH etc.) VoiceStream used area code/prefix-9999. Omnipoint used area code/prefix-6245. Powertel used something...

If you hold down your 1 button it takes you to voicemail which shouldn't count against your min. It's if you dial 123 that it count's against.

That's correct. It doesn't matter if you press and hold 1, dial 123 send, or 1805message (which has been the VM number at least as long as I've worked for T-Mo, which has been over 3 years), or your mobile number from your cell, it's still deducting from your minutes. The only proven way to check VM w/o using your min is to call your cell phone number from a landline, press * when you hear your greeting, and enter your VM password. I haven't heard of anyone trying to enter 18056377243 as one of their My Faves, so I don't know if that would ...

No im not calls to care DO NOT count against your minutes. They show up on the bill but that is just because all calls show up it doesnt mean they are being count against your minutes. Call up care and ask them if they are being charged in any way for the call. then write back saying how sorry you are and how you wont do it again. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

We are not talking about calls to care. We are talking about calls to Voicemail. I know that calls to CC do not count against your minutes. I do not have to call CC, I am a tech rep. I have access to all the info CC has and more. YOU on the other hand should visit SL...I think Features > Included Features and either Basic Voicemail or Enhanced Voicemail a...

No, you can not, I repeat CAN NOT, use voicemail as your 5 favorite numbers. Well, I guess you could add it as a favorite, but it will not be free to call. International, toll free, 900, and voicemail numbers can't be used.
