but i think this is the best entry i ever saw, this blind loyalty to comapanies is actually funny, i laugh at these entries that say cingular sucks, or tmo sucks or vzw sucks or cingy's the best, tmo's the best blah blah blah and see all these people lose their maturity(for those who have it) in these forums,
they would defend their company to the death, especially verizon salesman, hey i say it like i see it.
like i have a friend who uses tmo and loves it but wants to work for verizon
i really dont care what people use, i use and like cingular because it uses gsm and i like that technology, i like their data and their plans(except the txt/internet plans) and i like their 3g network and i can...

i personally work for verizon wireless. i agree 100% also with deviljin on this. People need to discover for themselves. if somethings works for you great if not try elsewhere. No cell phone company works everywhere and may not ever. it is funny seeing the people fight to the death over a cell phone. also i think this is the first time i have agreed with a cingular rep 😳 . Time to celebrate i think we should crack open the bottle of wine.
I so agree. People fighting for thier carrier is rediculous! Thier carrier is NOT paying them to advertise or advocate for them. They are paying the carrier for the wireless service. I had T-Mobile and I cancelled with them to go back ...

By the way, I have T-Mobile serivce. On a Sony Ericcson K750i, I Love unlocked phones.
Go with a company that suits you. For instance, I would love to use a GSM phone but due to limited coverage I can't use them. So I suck up the pain and use Verizon. I do whine about the ugly phones and the bluetooth restrictions with Verizon but I am laughing my a** off when I have coverage and others don't.
But as soon as GSM coverage in the US is as wide as they have in Europe I am coming back to the 21st century and use GSM.

Sorry, but coverage in the US will *never* be as good as it is in Europe. Economy of scale just says it can't happen. There are vast areas of the US that have near zero population. It's econommically unfeasable to cover every ...

yep that is true with any carrier. unless the cell carriers figure out ways to put small cell towers on birds or farm animals the very rural parts of the country.. can we say deliverance... 😳 here piggy piggy... umm sorry about that i just thought farm animal cell towers may work never know 🤣
HAHAHAHAHAHAAA OMG that was a hilarious comment!!!
I can picture the farm animal in a wireless ad: Come to our carrier, we have the best coverage...Sqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeul! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeelllll!!!!
And by the way, there is coverage on the Alps. I grow up in Europe and skied in the Alps and talked on my GSM phone with no issues.

Actually economy has nothing to do with GSM coverage. There enough money to send rockets to space building cell phone towers is not costly. GSM needs to add more coverage in rural areas.

You are of course right. I was just doing it from memory but checking GSM world it's pretty evident that there's almost ubiquitous coverage at least through TDC and Swisscom. It appears that Orange has slightly less complete coverage but still looks pretty good as compared to what you see for coverage in the US.
As far as putting up towers it may not cost as muc...
