T-Mobile FIVE all you need to know
-First off I would like to Thank Alltel for trying to compete with the FIVE by creating a top ten calling plan.
-But everyone, lets understand the reason's why the FIVE Killz the competition. Just so everyone knows the cheapest plan you can have with the "Ten" is going to be 59.99$ a month T-Mobile will start out the FIVE Plans at 49.99$ a month.
-The Five is actually not just a calling plan, because only certain phones will be FIVE capable. T-Mobile's phone line up will be 85% FIVE compatable by November 06. Every FIVE compatable phone will have a software option that makes the phone revolve around that particulars customer top FIVE.

What do you even do in this industry?
If you knew anything about wirless and the results of testing you would know that the FIVE was choosen because not everyone has a top TEN. Everyone has a top FIVE!!! FIVE is easier than Ten. T-Mobile's FIVE plans will have more WHENEVER minutes than ALLTEL's will. Plus the 49.99$ starting point is in the most competitive Wireless price range. 59.99$ is more than most want pay.

I'm not knocking T-Mobile because I happen to be a happy T-Mobile customer... just dont see your reasoning... T-Mobile will always be the better deal but I just dont see how 5 is better than 10... I understand the price plan doesnt have to be 59.99 and up but 10 is still better than 5... I do work in the industry and I understand that these numbers are based on analysis and testing... thank you for YOUR input!!!!....

I've never heard of this and neither has my manager. It would be great if t-mobile came out with something to compete with but if you're such a t-know it all than what preytell is your suggestion for selling t-mobile against alltel until/if ever this 'five' thing comes out?
My suggestion is pointing out limitations and extra cost.
The calls are only free when you're in your calling area. At T-Mobile we give you the most whenever minutes and your calling area is the whole US. Also your calls must begin AND end in your calling area...so if you drive out of it on the last minute, it will cost you.
My circle numbers can only be managed online so internet access is a must. (I know we don't believe it but there are some people out there tha...

Yeah but that plan is promotional and comes and goes. Right now it's not available, so you have to conpare it to the 49.99 1000 plan.

Every carrier has a gimmick.... rollover.... getmore... its the network wireless gimmicks are a way to raise arpu. the gimmicks may actually benefit some of the customers, but not every customer benefits by spending more than what they use.

Ok Children...lol...I'm not hear to say that 5 is better than 10 or brie is better than gorganzola..I am here to say that no matter how you look at it...T-Mobile will fair much better simply because it CAN...Alltel doesn't have the resources to compete with T-Mobile's advertising nationwide. I'm sure Alltel is a great company and all...but lets face it...the only reason half the people reading this have heard of Alltel is because they are in the industry...
