Yeah, I heard that the screen is the same. They suck. Same crap since the Color Sidekick. They need to improve that. What about EDGE?

I have the sidekick and I have to say that the screen is not that bad, it may not be the best, but I am happy with it. All I want in the next Sidekick for me to buy it would be bluetooth, edge, and possibly the ability to have more than 10 ringtones... That will make me happy...

What I dont understand is why why WHY are people going so crazy over a Sidekick 2 with a new paintjob? Tha sidekick 3 is hardly a competition compared to the MDA. one of my coworkers has the MDA and hes happy( makes me jealous sometimes), and my other coworker is just waiting for the SK3. What exactly does it have that the MDA doesnt?!?!?!?!

The sidekick 3 will be jam packed with great features such as "the same crap as the SK2", plus it will be operating on the "costs a buttload more for the same stuff" software.

I dont really see that as a positive outlook on the SK3. what you mean to say, the SK3 is for the more "technologically challenged"?

I'm saying the sk more for somebody that wants to be 'cool' and maybe does a bit of text messaging and to make and receive calls.

And? Your point is? The SK is simple to use! Everyone doesn't need a MDA. The MDA is different than the sidekick. SO, TO EVERYONE: PLEASE STOP COMPARING THESE TWO DEVICES!!!

My reply was to some one asking why get the sky3 when the mda was allready out. I did reply about the learning curve (sk being easier to use) So what is your point and why are you replying? If somebody wanted to come on here and ask for comparisons between the firefly kids phone and mda the would be right to do so. Stop screaming at people, especially if you have nothing usefull to add.

I'd choose the Firefly over the MDA any day 😛 . One question though: what does the MDA have that the firefly doesn't?.. IM KIDDING! too many people would take that question seriously..

One thing it does have is a cheaper add on plan and unlimited text messages. With the MDA you have to get the total internet plan which is just internet and hotspots...text would be a seperate add on. Therefore Sidekicks are $25 a month cheaper - the wifi capability.

Does anyone know if it'll be tri or quad band? Would be nice if the 850 band was added for roaming purposes.
