T-Mobile... best customer service?

JD Power's latest customer care survey puts T-Mobile in the top spot, followed by Verizon and Alltel.

My T-Mobile one year contract ended in Jan 05 and I elected to go with Alltel prepaid at that point. Within the last 30 days I tried to get back with T Mobile but they say I am an existing customer, this after 1 year w/o T Mobile or under contract. The song and dance that I have wait until the account "formally" closes out and then wait another 60 days, it will be Jul 06 before I am eligible for "new" T Mobile service. THIS IS CELL PHONE HELL. I called their much heralded customer service and they are like "oh well, that is the way it is" ...They don't realize there are plenty of other carriers that I can waltz right into their store and get service, so I did

hey no offense but thats company policy. were not mean reps out to get you.. if we could im sure we would have accomodated you. have fun with alltell. heard great things about them too! 😁

It has nothing to do with ...mean reps... The frustration is that a customer who has been out of contract for 14 months has to wait another 4 months to qualify as a new...that's what is mean
