SIM switch from BBerry to Treo

I have a 7105t Blackberry with t-Mobile. If I get an unlocked GSM Treo 650, what exactly are the steps to making the Treo work?

I know that when I switched from the 7290 to the 7105t my online attempts to switch failed and I had to call tMobile support for help.

My concern is that if I switch the SIM card and send the service books and the Treo data portion is not working, will tMobile support help me since they don't sell the Treo, at least that I am aware of.

Thanks very much for the info! I just heard from our rep and more or less echoed what you have said.

She cautioned me about the Treo as it is reportedly very fragile, not as user friendly as the Blackberry and tMobile customer service is not offically trained on the Treo so support will be very limited.

I'm still surprized that TMO is not on the Treo bandwagon. Here in Los Angeles therey are selling like crazy for Sprint, Verizon and Cingular... but not TMO!

My TMO rep offered to help me get one configured if I indeed purchased an unlocked version. That said, she is not a big supporter of Treo's. She feels that they are too fragile.

I am not unhappy with my Blackberry per se, but, I watched two colleagues using a Treo and some sort of HP device and the stylus option is pretty apprealing versus everything being done with the thumbs.
