upgrading at walmart

Do i have to be out of contract to upgrade ata walmart. I know i dont to upgrade at tmobile.com but those prices are rediculous.

Sorry, but Wal-mart DOES NOT do upgrades. 😛

I don't know about my local Wal-mart stores when it comes to people looking to upgrade on T-Mobile, since I never asked, but they do allow upgrades on Cingular service, but they charge more for Cingular upgrades than for 1st time signups. But if Wal-mart does allow upgrades, it's for the price of the phone listed with contract. That's how many agents and corporate stores do it, but the $50 instant credit would definitely not be offered at Wal-mart. I personally think Wal-mart might be ok for a prepaid phone, but not for a contract. At least my local Wal-mart stores don't offer any brochures for extended warranties or insurance if you lose or break your phone. That's what my local Radio Shack does to people; not have brochures available ...

Did you ever check in back the brochures were they list the "extra" features (Tzones, caller tunes, etc)?

I doubt it with what Tmobile is offering for commissions on upgrades.
