Well, DT has said they plan on spending 6 billion on upgrading the network, so give it time.

cellularman2006 said: what's up with the alltell thing? happening or not?

That was just gossip created by Nextel18, don't give it anymore thought considering he talks out his ass most of the time.

cellularman2006 said: what about the sk3?

Well, considering they released the special editions don't expect anytime soon. Try back next year.

It's a start. Remember that TM has to buy the spectrum from the FCC, so spending 6 bil is probably what they need right now.

t-mobile was the 1st do have gsm in the states and mms. why are they the las to get 3g?

Because they want to have it right before they release it, unlike other carriers like Sprint or Alltel trying to get the walkie talkie feature out so they can say they have it when it really doesn't work because they released it to early. What about Cellular One going GSM? Their GSM is not working good at all. We have had more customers port to TMobile from Cellular One in our area because Cellular One is just not getting it right. They keep telling their customers to wait it out, but who wants to pay for service that doesn't work?

When in 2006? Europe's had this (HTC Wizard [a.k.a. MDA Vario]) out for months.

I'm also very interested in when the HTC Wizard is expected to hit T-Mobile. I've been waiting for almost a year now (since the iPaq 6300 fiasco!) for a PDA/Phone.

Also, what are the plans for higher speed internet access?

Until DT buys enough spectrum you should probably not expect 3G speeds until end of 06, early 07.

Hmm! In MY city, T-Mobile not only competes with Cingular, it blows it out of the water!

b/c they're focusing on some voice and data plans with wi/fi, which I'm sure they'll be the first with.

my mission was to ask one question at a tim to get one answer at a time. it seem the 900mhz processors people have in their heads today aren't fast enough to answer more than a few questions at a time.

so therefore i asked in a seperate post each time. LIKE ANYONE WHO WANTED TO GET AAALLLL THERE QUESTIONS ANSWERED!!!!

THANKS 😁 😛

the v3i from what i hear will be a cingular phone since it has itunes. unlocked non-carrier branded ones are already out but you will have to call motorola or go ebay hunting. i saw one on ebay for $800.00 😲 . don't know about you but i ain't paying that much.

but when it drops ofically in january you'll be able to call moto and get one non carrier branded for i'll guesstimate aroung $500.00. i did it with the first rokr i got. unfortunatly cingular wouldn't support it when i had a problem so i returned it then went to a store and bought one out-right.

sorry for the latency in response. i didn't have it set for notify on new reply

is there any way i can get my activation fee waived? i got stuck with my phone cuz i have no reception at my house... plus i got the mr cartoon side kick and since its limited edition i cant return so i got screwed but the rep at the t-mobile store said icould get it waived if i call it in. is it true?

First, any phone bought with T-Mobile has 14 day return policy, regardless of what type of phone it is. Activation fees cannot be waived. If you are past your 14 days, then you are gonna have to try and make due. Don't get the run around, if he told you free activation, he's the one to talk to.
