the t809 has quad-band and i was wondering if this would mean better reception than say a triband. t-mobile network already has bad reception as it is, so i want a phone that gets the best reception it can with t-mo's service.

More bands does not equal better signal. More bands means more places all over the world that you can use the phone, in the most simplistic terms. Overall, Nokia gets the best reception.
