TMOBILE WI-FI/GPRS Software BUG !!!

I notice my battery on my notebook runs down more than ever after installing the "T-Mobile Connection Manager" and after much checking I've notice some very large files in the C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\TMOBILE\Connect Manager diretory.

Its called DIAGNOSTICS.TXT and a few others and your application is writing to this file several times a second.

I need this Diagnostics crap turned off ASAP. I don't have a TMobile problem, I have a MAJOR PROBLEM with you using CPU & DISK WRITES several times a second running my battery down.

Your application should be a LOW RESOURCE app since most people use the WI-FI and GPRS/EDGE on notebooks without electric.

Where's you heads at?

Though the connection manager makes using hotspots a breeze, I believe you should be able to use your default OS control panel to connect to the access point and then through a forced start page you log in. If you are accessing/writing a log a few times a second (which does, indeed, seem odd) bypassing the Tmo software should take care of it.

I haven't used Hotspots in ages, but I believe that's still the case.

Thanks for the reply and I agree. I used it and the Sony software for my GPRS/EDGE but was getting errors on TMobile (ie: None when using other Carriers with the same card) and TMobile told me to switch to there connect manager.

I did the switch to the connection manager and everything works great now. Other than them writing this debug crap and no way that I can find to turn it off.
