The word is that the pics were leaked by a T-Mobile employee. T-Mobile just received some of these devices for testing and the employee took it aside and took pics and released them. Danger is really pist and trying to cover it up. They first posted these pics on danger's forums and it was immediately locked and deleted. Danger wants to name it the "M2 Revolution" but T-Mobile wants to name it the Sidekick 3. There was a tentative set released date, but now it has been scracthed since the photos were released. Lets see what happens, if anyone knows anything more and needs to correct me on anything please feel free.

Yeah, I read that last night. Everytime someone posts a new thread about it, they are deleting them in a heart beat. That means its real. Cause usually they would just lock it, and say its not a real Sidekick 3. This is going to start serious problems with T-Mobile and Danger if someone actually took a pic and sent it out on the web. They can delete them as much as they want, but its already in circulation. Even Engadget is on the scoop:

To be honest, I always thought the SK was ugly to begin with. To me this doesn't look any worse, maybe even a bit better. But I still don't like the SK. Personal thing, not saying that there is anything wrong with them or people that like them. Just different strokes for different folks.

i just hope they put an miniSD slot on it this time. the SK2 didnt really have enough memory on it. I hope it come with bluetooth as well.

I don't know who to believe. Some are saying its fake, and some are saying its the prototype of the Sk2 since it looks like the Sk2. I wonder if the special edition Sk2's don't sell, will they announce the Sk3.

You mean like EDGE. I think you over did it when u said 2MP camera. I think they will put a 1MP camera on the next new Sidekick, and won't put a 2MP camera until T-Mobile launches UMTS or HSDPA in 2007/8.

i was looking at the picture of the sk3 and it seems like it doesnt have the scroll thing. it looks more like a joystick. that would really suck. then again, this might not be the real thing.
