I'm sorry if this was asked. It seems cingular will have it next month. I hear posters are in stores now.

Some of the rumors I hear are that T-mobile has some windows based devices by HTC in Q1 of '06.
So will T-mobile not consider HP and cozy up to HTC for the near future? Especiailly since I've been told they are just going to let the stock run out of current HP products.

I guess if you don't have a launch packet for the new HP 6500's by now then it's not going to happen soon.

I know the device has some flaws like all but it's pretty cool. What other windows combo PDA/phone device has GPS with a keyboard?

The hw6500 is going to Cingular. If its a phone you really want, you could go buy an unlocked version which will work on T-Mobile.

With EDGE 2.5g service launching (rumor is tomorrow Sept 1st) shortly, T-Mobile will probably lanuch with new phones that use this service. The two HTC devices confirmed so far are:
HTC Tornado
HTC Wizard (Keyboard)

These are supposed to be available by october.

None of these support GPS but you can buy seperate GPS attachment that will work with most PDAs.

I'll look into unlocked ones then. They are like $700 though when a 6500 thru cingular is like $450 w/ rebate for 2 yrs.

GPS internal is important. All the reviews say the GPS part works great. I hate carrying around my bluetooth GPS from car to car.
