Tmobile Reps Question about LNP and pricing
Also, I will want to bring two other cellphones from Cingular (not former ATT straight Cing customers) and keep the same phone numbers and sign up for a family plan.
But I don't want to pay full price for new phones.
Comments please.
Look at it like this. New activation... is the new activation of the new service, just being aboe to take your phone number with you is a new bouns thanks to the FCC.
Here's some advice....call Cingular's customer service and ask to speak to the retention department. I have seen customers get really expensive phones for free, hidden "save" plans, and waived upgrade fees. I can't guarantee you will recieve the same but it is worth a shot. Do a google for "c-500 unlock". You'll find it.
Don't pay more than 35-40 USD though. People on ebay are charging 80+ for the same thing.
Good luck
And lets face it, I'm pretty clumsy. Which is why I want a clamshell because I know I'll drop ti and scratch the screen sooner or later.
I imported a Moto V635. It was locked to Orange but it works perfect with Cingular including the media settings. It is by far the best phone I have ever owned and I go through around 12-15 phones a year.
Good luck with finals! That is something that I do not miss.
