Labor Law Violations
Does anyone else work 9 or 11 hours shifts without breaks or 40+ hours with no overtime pay, or how about personal commission quotas that are higher than what the whole store sells?
(just wondering if I am alone in this biz)
p.s. or how about selling returned phones to customers as if they are brand new?

ummmmm no (used to be salaried for NW Restaurants inc and used to be a slave dog so I know how u feel, salaried though so it was legal )

then make some demands, push some wait, get to know your state labor law's, just be careful not to get canned in the process.
I had a friend who started to speak up about illegal things her work was doing, she got canned, but followed it u w/ law suit, it started class action law suit, she got compensated for being fired, and a lot of employees received fat settlements for breaks they did not receive

I'm going into my 4th day of 11 hours per day and a lawsuit sounds like just what my barking dogs are in desperate need of!

four days at 11 hours per day??? CALL THE COPS!!!! or you could just sack up and deal with it. i worked 14 12 hour days over the holidays without a day off in between.

we did the same thing here during the holidays... arizona is a right to work state too, so they don't have to give us any time off if they don't want to, and they don't even have to give a reason if they fire you.

comission only? 😲 i'm not paid on comission. salary all the way, but they still pay OT.

sometimes that would be nice... i've chased herds of twelver year old kids away from my kiosk for the last 6.5 hours, and i've only made thirty bucks today... it's not a good day
