đŸ˜ĸ I heard from a good source we are getting the bold if not the bold the 8900. Can anyone conferm this please. Becuz the g1 is ugly as all hell and the behold is garbage. Can we at least get a phone the looks like the beold but has the wonderful feature of a g1 😁 , or is that too much to ask for 🙄

The reason T-Mobile got the flip instead of the bold or the storm is because we had such success with the pearl. T-Mobile sold over 1.5 million pearls (give or take a few) within the first few months of its release, and those were to people tollerant of a candybar-style phone, which is about 15% of the population. RIM figured "If we sold that many to 15% of the population, why not make a blackberry in a form factor that 75% of the population likes?"

With that being said, rumor has it that if verizon doesn't sell the quota of Storms that RIM set for them for the holiday season, then T-Mobile will be getting the Storm Q2.

It's the Curve 8900, not Javelin. Javelin was the code name during development. That's what I've read all over the place, right?

As far as official specs I'm not 100% but from what I have seen it is suppose to be the same as the bold but instead of 3G it will have UMA.
